This show hit hard for many of us, and as someone who works closely with parents navigating the digital world, I can tell you—it’s more than entertainment. It’s a wake-up call.
These are no longer just tech issues.
They’re human ones.
Emotional, cultural, and deeply personal.
Since writing my book Keeping Families Safe on Social Media, I’ve heard from countless parents who thought they were doing everything right, only to realize how fast things can spiral when we’re not fully present in our kids’ digital lives.

We don’t need to be perfect. But we do need to be present. One powerful first step? Talk about their online world with curiosity, not control. Ask: “Who do you like following lately?” or “What do you think about that trend?”
These small moments open big doors.
We don’t need more pressure. We need more presence.
And we don’t have to do it alone.
